Suburb Guides - Homebush Homebush is a regional area which extends from Strathfield to the wider Homebush Bay, including Sydney Olympic Park. In this section, information and directories of Homebush relate to the former area of Homebush Municipal Council. This area is bounded at south by the Railway, north and west by Homebush Bay Drive and east by Powell's Creek. The suburb of Homebush, which is north of the Railway, has been part of Strathfield Council since 1885 and records on this area are contained in the Suburb Guide for Strathfield. The post office which services this area is called Homebush South.
