Information requests

This website has been designed to provide assistance for frequently requested information on the history of the Strathfield district. The website is reviewed regularly and updated to keep information current. Suggestions about improvements or additions to the website are always appreciated.

This website and the activities of the Strathfield District Historical Society Inc. are funded entirely by the Society and its members. The Strathfield District Historical Society Inc. operates entirely on a voluntary capacity and does not receive any government funding.

The Society receives many requests for information. Due to the large volume of requests, the Society may not be able to respond to every request for information. Many people submitting requests may not be aware that answering their request may involve considerable time and cost and work is done on a voluntary basis. The Society reserves the right to refuse to answer requests.

While care is taken in providing information, no liability is accepted for the accuracy of information and how the information may be used. Commercial use of research information is strictly prohibited.
